Ocean Drive hosted its annual Hot Chefs Event at Loews Miami Beach Hotel on November 11, 2012. Guests sampled bites from the area’s best new chefs and restaurants—many of which were part of our November issue feature on New American cuisine. Dishing the goods were chefs from Florida Cookery, Exit 1, Pride and Joy BBQ, South Street, Preston’s at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, Garcia’s Seafood Grill, and Rusty Pelican. Guests were also treated to specialty cocktails courtesy of Herradura Tequila, wines by Martin Codax, and delectable desserts served in the event’s Infiniti Lounge. To give back, guests made donations to benefit Feeding South Florida.
