Stylist Melissa Mosheim brings some of the top fashion labels to her new boutique: MVM Miami.
Adding some fresh retail allure to the community’s growing repertoire, Wynwood welcomed MVM Miami boutique to the neighborhood over the weekend. With stylist-turned-store-owner Melissa Mosheim bringing her keen editing eye to MVM’s racks and eclectically cool décor, the shop is sure to be a fashionista favorite in no time.
“Styling has given me confidence in knowing what my clientele is looking for and how to cater to a broad target market,” Mosheim explains. Before opening MVM, she was a set regular on The Real Housewives of Miami and at photoshoots around town. Mosheim also racked up day-to-day business insight while managing Big Drop NYC and Jessie Boutique.
“After having worked in different stores and gaining experience in running them, I was intrigued with the idea of having my own,” Mosheim says. “It was always my long-term goal, and I finally felt that I was ready to take it on.”
MVM clients will find on-trend pieces by big-names like Lanvin, Monserat De Lucca, and 10 Crosby Derek Lam hanging alongside emerging designers.
“If I had to describe my customer… I would say she wants to look chic at all times while keeping comfort in mind because she is usually on the go,” Mosheim explains. “As much as she is busy and on the run, she doesn’t want to compromise her look. She is always dressed to the nines.” 175 N.W. 23rd St., Miami, 305-573-4885; open Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
