SEAH Unveils 4 New Watches for Fall

August 22, 2013 | by Roberta Naas, atimelyperspective.comWatches

The new Astronomer watch from SEAH. has covered this Swiss-made brand before. We’ve even reviewed these timepieces. Incredibly well-made and beautifully crafted for men and women, SEAH watches hold a full patent for their unique design. The watches are all inspired in design by astrology, and offer the wearer a quiet, personal statement. This year the brand—whose name is an ancient word for “time” —celebrates its 10th anniversary.

New for fall are four new models—two men’s and two women’s—that join the Sun Collection. We particularly love this striking men’s piece that utilizes the Greek zodiac signs on the dial and features a rotating bezel that allows the wearer to position the marker at his own zodiac sign. Powered by a Ronda Swiss quartz movement, the new series is created in a limited edition of 50 pieces. This model for men is called The Astronomer; the new women’s model is called The Celestial.

The Astronomer, which includes a black lacquer dial, features a 46mm stainless steel case and is water resistant to 10 ATM. The sapphire crystals feature five layers of anti-reflective coating, and the watch has a screw-in case back engraved with the serial number. The bezel features a patented wave design and the alligator strap is made by Hirsch. One of the best facets of the watch? It is a piece of affordable luxury—as all SEAH watches retail from $950 to $2,500.
