Seasonal, Tableside Cocktails for a Crowd at Living Room

As restaurant menus transition for fall, so too do cocktail offerings. The W South Beach Hotel & Residences' Living Room bar takes a fresh approach to curating with signature cocktails created by different members of its international beverage team. They're also using fresh, seasonal ingredients (plucked from a Homestead garden) and experimenting with fun table-side preparations.
Dubbed "Barmen Features," the recipes for the Living Room's new autumn drinks come from bartenders located everywhere from Cuba to Israel. The Rambler, created by Havana's JC Caballero, is made with Papa's Pilar Blonde artisan rum, muddled blueberries, fresh basil, lemon, and plum bitters. Imbued with a similar balance of tart, sweet, and herbaceous notes, The Jalapeño Passion, created by Israeli bartender Tomer Doar, gets mixed with Herradura Reposado Tequila, passionfruit, jalapeño, lime and basil. And for mezcal fans, Maui native Liko Keola Miles' Sombra Verde packs smoky Del Maguey Mezcal Vida, fresh squeezed cucumber juice, lime, paprika, and rosemary.
Imbibing as a group? Opt for The Barrel, which weighs in at a full liter (enough for four people) and is prepared table-side with the guests' preferred spirit and a host of fresh, exotic ingredients—think edible flowers and house-made essential oils. 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305-938-3000
