CBS Miami's Eliott Rodriguez reports.
Olivia Culpo is beyond stunning for the January 2017 cover of Ocean Drive Magazine. Clad in a gold sequin Diane von Furstenberg dress, Culpo proves she's more than just a pretty face in the issue.
Ocean Drive knows how to pick a hot cover girl. They also know how to throw a hot party. And here’s what it looks like when it all comes together. Olivia Culpo is sizzling up this month’s Ocean Drive Magazine. Olivia Culpo: “I was really, really, really honored when I was asked to do the cover.”
She revealed she was a 'chubby' child in this month's edition. But anyone looking at Olivia Culpo on Wednesday would agree she certainly grew into her looks. The 24-yer-old stunned in a plunging white gown as she arrived for her Ocean Drive Cover Party at Ricky's South Beach in Florida.
It’s the end of November, which means while the rest of us slowly begin to recover from the post-Thanksgiving Day bloat, the Victoria’s Secret girls are busy taking Paris by storm. And while OG Angel Heidi Klum won’t be amongst the lingerie-clad ladies bringing the longstanding runway show abroad this year, the model has never lost her love of strutting around in next to nothing. In fact, in her latest cover interview for Ocean Drive magazine, Klum discusses her preference for nudity, what she looks for in a good set of lingerie, and confesses that even though she poses in the buff professionally that doesn’t mean she hasn’t had her fair share of insecurities.
Heidi Klum, 43, says age doesn’t matter when it comes to younger boyfriend Vito Schnabel, 30.
“It’s not about age,” she tells Ocean Drive. “We have an amazing connection, we have fun together and we love each other. It doesn’t matter what people say. As long as you know when you close your door in your own home, you have an amazing time together.”
Katharine McPhee has gone from the “American Idol” stage to a few acting gigs and albums in between. Deco caught up with the former Idol alum while she was celebrating another feather in her cap, right here in South Florida.
Katharine McPhee has “no regrets” about her scandal-filled love life. The actress, who hooked up with her “Smash” director, Michael Morris, in 2013 while married to Nick Cokas, told Ocean Drive magazine that it was a learning experience. “I got married really young, and then divorced.” McPhee, who is now single and dating, added, “This is what I should have been doing when I was 20 instead of planning a wedding. But I don’t have any regrets. All of the choices I made I learned from in a really deep way.”
Actress and singer Katharine McPhee is gracing the cover of Ocean Drive magazine’s September issue, where she opened up about life after “American Idol” and moving on following her divorce from Nick Cokas.
It’s been a decade since Katharine McPhee nearly won “American Idol.” Since then it’s been TV success, singing, and — our favorite — scandal! Deco’s Chris Van Vliet is checking out her Ocean Drive cover shoot, where she tells all.
Before jetting off to various Oscars afterparties, Victoria’s Secret model Shanina Shaik was hanging out Thursday night in Broward County. Yes! The beyond gorgeous Aussie hit up Kuro inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to toast her February Ocean Drive cover. Though she has a successful career now, the 25-year-old admits to the magazine that she was made fun of when she was younger. “It doesn’t matter who you are and what you look like, anybody can be bullied,” said Shaik, who is engaged to DJ Ruckus. “At the time it was jealousy, and I didn’t understand that … I actually stopped going to school because I was tired of the hurt, the taunting, the negative statements. Kids can be quite cruel.”
Deco Drive isn't the only important drive in SoFlo. We can't forget about our pals at Ocean Drive. Deco caught up with this month's Ocean Drive cover girl, Malin Akerman, and of course, we got to party with her and get a glimpse behind the scenes of her Ocean Drive photo shoot. Miami was all about Malin this past friday. Malin Akerman was at Wall at the W in South Beach for a party to celebrate being on the cover of Ocean Drive magazine's March Spring Fashion issue.
Ocean Drive celebrated its March issue Friday at WALL at W South Beach with cover star Malin Akerman. Star of Showtime’s Billions, Akerman channeled her high-flying character, dancing and sipping cocktails.
Why don’t you tell us how you really feel, Ashley Benson? Ocean Drive’s January cover girl opens up to the glossy publication about overcoming unrealistic beauty ideals in show business: “I was just told I was too fat for a part,” said the actress who started out on the soap Days of Our Lives at age 14. “I’m a size 2! I cried for 30 minutes, but then you have to let it roll off your shoulders or it could cause a serious eating disorder.”
Hollywood can be harsh. Ashley Benson revealed during an interview with Ocean Drive magazine that as a size 2 in Tinseltown, she’s considered fat. “I was just told I was too fat for a part,” the January 2016 cover girl said. “I’m a size 2! I cried for 30 minutes, but then you have to let it roll off your shoulders or it could cause a serious eating disorder. A lot of people in this industry hear they need to lose weight more times than they should. It does make you stronger, though. Because if you let that affect you, you can’t be in this industry — you’d go crazy.” One thing that does make the Pretty Little Liars star, 26, crazy? Photoshop.
Katie Holmes sings, dances and is even making her directorial debut, but the actress admits she's not much of an art collector and was eager to explore Art Basel Miami Beach for the first time. Holmes walked the red carpet for a party toasting her Ocean Drive magazine cover at a private home on South Beach on Friday night. "I really appreciate art," said Holmes, who said she follows Jose Parla on Instagram and is friends with the photographer who goes by JR. She's also a fan of Cy Twombly. "I have a toe in the art world."
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Actress Katie Holmes was in Miami Friday night for Ocean Drive Magazine’s “Art of the Party.” The event was held at the former home of baseball player Alex Rodriguez. Looking back on her life to this point, Katie Holmes has no regrets. "I don't regret anything that I've done," the actress, 36, tells Ocean Drive in its December cover story. "I've learned from everything, and everything sort of leads you to the next place. I just keep going."
Katie Holmes is setting the record straight—she's really just like us. "I'm a normal person and I do walk around," the New York City resident dished to Ocean Drive of her life today as an actor, director, burgeoning artist and mom of daughter Suri Cruise, 9. "If you're having a bad day, you just take a walk, and it's not only that you see people who are having a worse day than you, it's just that you're in life. You suddenly can't be stuck in whatever problem you're in because you have to hail a cab or you have to get a subway ticket. There's more than just you and I think the harsh winters give you a little bit of character."
Katie Holmes says she has no regrets -- three years after her divorce from Tom Cruise. "I don’t really regret anything that I’ve done," the former Mrs. Cruise, 36, told Ocean Drive magazine. "I’ve learned from everything, and everything sort of leads you to the next place. I just keep going." The "Touched With Fire" star opened up to the magazine about her life three years after her divorce from Cruise. "I really enjoy my life," she said. She noted that her new life in New York City, with their 9-year-old daughter Suri Cruise, is down to earth.
Jennifer Lopez will be in Miami to see her spanking new Ocean Drive cover in the flesh. Lopez should be in prime form, pipes all tuned up from prepping for her Las Vegas residency. “I want to be high-energy, Bronx kind of block part,” Lopez says of the show called All I Have, which starts up in January. “I want the show to be always changing, so it’s unique experience every time – one night a Selena song, and another maybe something by Diana Ross.” Of the title: “It’s always been my approach to preforming, to work, to everything I do in life: I give it all I have.” Next up for J.Lo is a new NBC series, Shades of Blue, also coming out in January. It’s set n the world of cops, but it’s really about human nature – how we’re always riding a line of what’s right and what’s wring, that slippery slop.
Alright, Jennifer Lopez…share some of your flawlessness with the rest of us! The 46-year-old (!!!) singer covers the newest edition of Ocean Drive magazine, looking like the goddess she is in a colorful frock and a bright pinkish-red pout—not one wrinkle in sight! But as much as we could go on and on about her beauty, we're even more excited to get some new details about her upcoming Las Vegas residency, which begins in January 2016.
Earth Angel Jennifer Lopez is on the cover of Ocean Drive magazine looking fierce AF. I love everything about her face and this look and need I remind you that this woman is 46 years old. Holy Moly, she is insane. If I look like that when I'm 46, just kill me and put me in a museum with the caption, "HUMAN PERFECTION. YOU'RE WELCOME."
Jennifer Lopez is getting amped up for her 2016 Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood. " I want it to be a high-energy, Bronx kind of block party," she tells Ocean Drive Magazine. "The most exciting shows make you dance, and scream, and jump up and down. I want people to really let loose... I want the show to be always changing, so it's a unique experience everytime – one night Selena song, and another maybe something by Diana Ross." She's also getting costume cues from some serious divas. "It's like a fantasy. When you think of Diana Ross, Cher or Barbra Streisand, it's their costumes that became their signature," Lopez figures.
Jennifer Lopez fans are beginning to get an idea of what her Vegas show will be like. The 46-year-old told Ocean Drive magazine that she wants her Las Vegas residency to be like a "high-energy Bronx kind of block party." J.Lo said that she wants the show to change constantly. The show, titled "All I Have," is scheduled to open on Jan. 20, 2016, at Planet Hollywood's Axis Theater. It..
You can take the girl out of the Bronx, but you can’t take the Bronx out of the girl! That’s just part of the reason why Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming Las Vegas residency at the MGM Grand will pay homage to her New York roots. The 46-year-old singer-actress is featured on the November cover of Ocean Drive, and she opened up to the magazine about bringing Jenny from the block front and center once again.
Dwayne Wade is once again gracing the cover of Ocean Drive Magazine. And when you get that title, there's only one thing to do: celebrate, South Florida style!
Dwayne Wade and wife Gabriella Union were proud to pour their respective new wines, Wade Wine, and Vanilla Puddin Chardonnay Friday at Stripsteak at the Fontainebleau for Ocean Drive Magazine's party feting Wade, their men's issue cover star. Said Wade, "This is the first time anyone in the U.S. has tasted my wine so thank you and make sure you get home safe." Wade looked dapper in an Adrien Sauvage suit, Union sleek in a Rochas skirt; the couple both sported shoes by Saint Laurent.
One year in and the marriage between Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union is not perfect – which is part of what makes it so relatable, Wade told PEOPLE. "I think the one thing is, we are imperfect, just like every couple in the world," he said Friday night at the celebration of his Ocean Drive Magazine cover story at StripSteak by Michael Mina at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. "We stick together through it all – through the great times, through the bad times."
Ocean Drive magazine threw a party at the new Hyatt Centric Hotel to celebrate the September issue, feting local “influencers” like “It” girl Taylor Abess, luxury real estate agent David Pulley, and debonair Venezuelan designer Oscar Carvallo, who is planning to open a boutique in the Design District next month. Team members from Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour were on hand to show off designer goodies at a high-end pop-up shop.

The work-home division is a difficult conundrum for many new moms, but former Bachelorette Ashley Hebert Rosenbaum has found “the most perfect balance” between the two.
The new mom — who lives in Miami with husband J.P. Rosenbaum and their 9-month-old son Fordham Rhys — spoke to PEOPLE while the couple celebrated their feature in Ocean Drive Magazine Tuesday night at The Shore Club Residences in South Beach.
Ashley, a pediatric dentist, was originally planning to set up her own practice once she was a mother, but soon after her baby boy was born, “I decided I wanted to spend more time with my son.”
Victoria’s Secret’s newest angel Martha Hunt will fall to earth this week.
The stunner graces the cover of Ocean Drive’s new swimsuit double-issue, and the mag will fete the 26-year-old North Carolina native at a private party in her honor Thursday night at The Delano Beach Club.
Fittingly, Hunt has friends in high places – she’s one of Taylor Swift’s besties, even appearing in the country pop singer’s Bad Blood video.
Maintaining a model physique hasn’t come easily for Hunt, who has scoliosis, aka a curvature of the spine.
“I try to keep it in a very low impact,” she tells the glossy. “[Working out] can be really hard on my back, whether it’s too much running, jumping or boxing. I’ll do those things once in a while, but I keep it mostly Pilates, resistance-band based, softer exercises that build strength from inside the muscle.”
A little humid weather will do her good. She’s excited to fly down south for the party and for Swim Week festivities, but did say Miami can be a little aggressive with the picture taking.
“They somehow always find me,” she said. “I don’t get paparazzied that much, but in Miami, they’re out to get you.

Stars Ashley (Hebert) Rosenbaum and J.P Rosenbaum were feted Tuesday by Ocean Drive magazine at the new Shore Club Residences. The new-to-South Florida couple told Ocean Drive magazine in this month’s issue that “Miami is the perfect fit for us. It’s a great place to start a business.” Ashley is a pediatric dentist, and J.P. is in real estate.
Martha Hunt may be best known for being one of Taylor Swift's BFFs but it was her time in the spotlight on Thursday. The 26-year-old model celebrated her cover of Ocean Drive magazine's Swim Issue with a party in Miami at the Delano South Beach. The Victoria's Secret Angel went braless in a backless halter dress and showed off her incredibly toned figure.
Swim Week is now officially underway in Miami. It kicked off with Ocean Drive's annual swimsuit issue. Thursday night, 7's Chris Van Vliet caught up with cover star, Victoria Secret angel Martha Hunt at the Delano South Beach.
"I think it's awesome, and I wanna fly home with it," said Hunt on her cover photo. "Can I just like, pack it in my bag and bring it with me?"
When asked if it ever got old to see herself on a magazine cover, Hunt replied, "I still can't get used to it, and Ocean Drive was actually one of my first shoots ever when I was a teenager, like 10 years ago or something, so it's pretty full circle that now, here I am doing the cover."
Let’s face it! Many women (and even a few gents) are addicted to the modern dating show, ABC’s The Bachelorette, and with the final episode of this season debuting soon, the show’s season 7 stars Ashley (Hebert) Rosenbaum and J.P Rosenbaum celebrated right here in our backyard. The two met on the show and traveled the globe, have decided to make Miami their home and partied at the Ocean Drive magazine soiree at the new Shore Club Residences. The happy couple, who welcomed their first child, Fordham Rhys Rosenbaum, in September, opened up to Ocean Drive magazine in this month’s issue about the big move, launching Ashley’s pediatric dentistry business and why Miami is a perfect fit. Hosting the event, Ocean Drive’s Editor-in-Chief Jared Shapiro introduced new luminaries on the Miami scene, including Faena Art’s new director of exhibitions, Zoe Lukov, and Dr. Eldredge “Biff” Bermingham, Chief Science Officer at the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum, to the 100-plus crowd of Miami’s cultural glitterati and trendsetters who attended the bash.

Down a few blocks at the Delano was Ocean Drive’s party for cover girl Martha Hunt. The Victoria’s Secret Angel, stepping out in a silky, burgundy
J. Mendel dress, said she was planning to try to sneak in a swimsuit show or two.
“You guys and your Swim Week,” laughed Hunt, 26. “Miami is such a perfect place for it. So sexy and hot.”
Models Adriana Lima and fellow Victoria's Secret Angel Martha Hunt jetted down to South Beach together for the annual swim shows on Thursday. Hunt, the newest angel who's been spotted lately in Taylor Swift's entourage of supermodel besties, spent much of the night at the Delano for her Ocean Drive magazine swimsuit cover debut party. Prior to hitting the red carpet, Hunt dined with Ocean Drive's Editor-in-Chief Jared Shapiro and Publisher, Courtland Lantaff at Bianca at Delano South Beach, where she was overheard saying she loves to eat and loves Italian food.
She told Ocean Drive magazine last year that Pink has become a family for her and she has been able to travel the world and meet new people. Hilbert also gushed about the fact that she gets to model clothes that she actually like to wear and even her friends wear. Besides, she added that through Pink she gets to bring her own personality on set and express herself.
