Fresh off last week's launch, the Bass’ new Art Club for Adults returns this Thursday. The midday mixer will take participants on a guided tour of the current “Unnatural” exhibition, which explores the artificial but awe-inspiring visual power of technology and its effects on nature and reality. RAW: Natural Born Artists rings in the September edition of its monthly showcase this Thursday night. Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami

The MoCA is serving up a double feature this Friday. Not only will the museum reprise Optic Nerve (its annual short film and video festival) with two premiere screenings and 17 selected works, but it will also host the opening reception for “Trading Places II,” a program in which MoCA invited five artists to adopt temporary museum studios.
