Oyster sliders, part of the anniversary prix fixe at The Dutch
Believe it or not, it has been one year since The Dutch brought its elevated comfort food to the W South Beach. In honor of the anniversary, chef and co-owner Andrew Carmellini, chef de cuisine Conor Hanlon, and pastry chef Josh Gripper have put together a three-course meal of their greatest hits ($65) available for one-week-only (November 11–18).
First course options include a trio of fried oyster sliders with pickled okra sauce or a butter lettuce salad with pear, hazelnut, and blue cheese, while main courses include a house-made pappardelle with lamb ragu, creamy ricotta, and mint or a steamed red snapper in coconut curry broth. The meal ends with a slice of one of Gripper’s seasonal pies.
Carmellini knows it wouldn’t be a birthday without a cocktail or two. To that end, the bar is offering its Southern Peach (peach-infused bourbon, bitters, crème de pêche) and Watermelon Crush (vodka, jalepeño, cilantro, watermelon, lemon, black pepper) for just $9 each. 2201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305-938-3111
