This inaugural food and wine festival to benefit The Miami Children's Hospital Foundation will debut at this weekend's Wynwood Art Walk (Saturday, August 11). Named after the Greco-Roman word for boisterous revelries, the event will showcase wine vendors from around the world alongside local food trucks and emerging artists and artisans, including live art and entertainment installations. “Bits & Pieces with Trek6 & Friends” at Cafeina Wynwood Lounge
Cafeina Wynwood Lounge's August exhibition features the works of local street artist Oscar "Trek6" Montes, among other urban muralists. Trek has tirelessly traveled the country in support of street beautification projects and was one of the driving forces behind Art Basel's successful "Co11ective" showcase. His works include portraits of Ray Charles, Bob Marley, and Celia Cruz. "Bits" will open this Saturday, August 11 and remain on display through September 3, 2012. Admission is $5 after 10 PM. Summer Photo Show 2012 at The Lunch Box Gallery
The Lunch Box Gallery's second annual summertime group exhibition will highlight the photographic works of 14 artists. Lunch Box held an international open call for entries leading up to event, carefully selecting works with varied viewpoints and superior craftsmanship.
