New Eats: BLT Steak Lightens Up

The SoBe steakhouse goes surf and turf with new raw bar and sushi offerings.

Beginning Thursday (June 14) BLT Steak at The Betsy Hotel will serve up new raw bar and menu options to counterbalance its generally meat-centric cuisine. Crafted by Indonesian sushi chef Insih Rudapin, seafood options will be both local and sustainable and will include oysters, Alaskan king crab, salmon, ceviche, littleneck clams, and mussels. The new additions will be available during lunch and dinner, alongside weekly blackboard specials, which will be prepared by chef de cuisine Matthew Oetting. New to the BLT team, Oetting comes to Miami from NYC, where he tended the line at Trump Hotel SoHo. 1440 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, 305-673-0044
