If you consider yourself a foodie, Chefs Feed may become your new favorite mobile app. Currently available for free on the iPhone, Chefs Feed curates favorite dishes from cities around the country, suggested by over 500 renowned chefs. Whether it’s upscale spots with expensive prix-fixes or hole-in-the-wall hangouts, no price point is left untouched or cultural background unattended. The ever-expanding app has even crossed the pond to London, England and covers dozens of cities in between.

Miami's edition includes chefs like Giorgio Rapicavoli (Eating House), Hedy Goldsmith (Michael's Genuine), Dewey LoSasso (The Forge), and Adrianne Calvo (Chef Adrianne's). Users can filter their cravings by location or food genre and search for chef commentary on specific dishes. To up the ante on the application's transparency, chefs can also communicate directly with their followers and live-feed their feasts.

Chefs Feed founders and hospitality industry experts Steve and Jared Rivera traveled the country to handpick their featured contributors, a personal touch that has helped keep the app's growth on the rise. Here's what some of Miami's own kitchen all-stars have to say about Chefs Feed:

"Chefs Feed became an integral part of my time traveling the US. Not only did I learn about some of the best dishes in each city, but it gave me a chance to reach out and meet new chefs. I think it's great!" -Giorgio Rapicavoli, Eating House

”I participated in it because I thought it was a really cool thing. I'm not app savvy and I found it easy to use. I liked the functionality. I made sure to share my five favorite places—Shake Shack, Whisk Gourmet, Tudor House, Mandolin Aegean Bistro, and The Dutch." -Hedy Goldsmith, Michael's Genuine

“Riki Altman [Chefs Feed Miami Editor] shared information on the Chef’s Feed app with me and I immediately thought it was a great concept. It is an app that allows me to view what other chefs are doing around town, and also to share the dishes I create. In a way, it is a social media platform for chefs in the community to communicate with one another about our mutual passion for food. It gives us an outlet to discover, share, and create!” -Dewey LoSasso, The Forge

“Most times, I have only a couple of hours in a city, so I always use Chefs Feed to make sure I make an awesome choice for dinner. If you know me, you know I'm allergic to boring. Chefs Feed gives me exciting options.” -Adrianne Calvo, Chef Adrianne's
