November 07, 2012
Skyfall, the twenty-third installment of the iconic James Bond movie series, hits theaters nationwide this Friday, igniting a bevy of 007-themed celebrations, one the biggest of which will take place right here in Miami. On Friday, November 9, The Dezer Collection will host an interactive James Bond Experience amid the world's biggest collection of Bond film memorabilia. Prized props on view include the iconic “Golden Gun” and several Aston Martins featured in the films—the museum’s entire 007 collection is valued at $15 million. Starting at 7 p.m., guests can sip Russian Standard martinis (shaken, not stirred), nibble on bites by celebrity chef Adrianne Calvo, and indulge in passed caviar. Guests will then be shuttled to a secret location to watch a private screening of Skyfall. Tickets to the secret agent-inspired event are $75 per person and may be purchased online. 2000 N.E. 146th St., Miami, 305-354-7680.
