First Look: The Pleasure Garden Restaurant
See what Michelle Bernstein is cooking up at the burlesque playground.
November 16, 2012
After garnering months of pre-show buzz, Orchid (equal parts Moulin Rouge and Cirque du Soleil) debuted this Wednesday in the Design District. The scantily clad spectacle is nestled inside what producers call "The Pleasure Garden" and will continue its run through January 6, 2013. To make Orchid a feast for all of the senses, organizers recruited celebrated local chef Michelle Bernstein to oversee food service in The Pleasure Garden Restaurant and its outdoor bar. Inside you’ll find a prix fixe ($38 per person) that includes dishes like bucatini carbonara, braised short ribs, and snapper Française, while outdoors you can snack on truffled popcorn, succulent lobster salad sliders, and Michy's croquetas. 299 N.E. 38th St., Miami
