"Marilyn Monroe: Tribute to a Female Icon" at Galleria Ca'd'Oro will display 28 works from 21 artists that celebrate and capture the life of America's most transcendent actress, while also marking the 50th anniversary of her untimely death. The opening reception will take place on Wednesday, August 22 (7-10 PM). "Tribute" will remain on view through October 10, 2012.

Curated by Gloria Porcella and Lamberto Petrecca, Monroe's generational impact is explored through a variety of creative outlets, including photography, video, and installation.
