Stone Crab Season Cheat Sheet
Three places to crack claws at the start of Florida stone crab season.
October 12, 2012

My Ceviche
You can make pre-season orders at last year’s end-season prices at My Ceviche through Sunday, October 14. Claws from medium to colossal range from $25 to $50 per pound, and for every two pounds of claws you buy, My Ceviche will add a complimentary side dish. The seafood haunt’s sister company, Georgia Stone Crab, will be servicing larger orders. First catch shipments will arrive early on Tuesday, October 16 and may be picked up, delivered (exclusive to Miami Beach residents), or devoured onsite. 235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, 305-397-8710
Joe's Stone Crab
Joe's officially reopened for dinner service on Thursday and is set to serve its first lunch on Tuesday, October 16 (11:30 a.m.). Those who don't have time to grab a table can order online up to thirty days in advance. Joe's also ships overnight to anywhere in the continental U.S. 11 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, 305-673-0365
Truluck's Seafood, Steak, and Crab House
When the season kicks off next week, Truluck's will be replacing its weekly Monday night all-you-can-eat Pacific stone crab special with a much-anticipated Florida stone crab option. For $69 per person, diners can crack unlimited claws alongside soup or salad and a side. 777 Brickell Ave., Miami, 305-579-0035
