Officine Panerai’s Bal Harbour Radiomir 10 Days GMT watch
Inspired by the idyllic tropical settings of Bal Harbour and Palm Beach, Italian watchmaker Officine Panerai designed a special collection of timepieces to commemorate its newest store openings in those cities, with each watch engraved in the back with the characteristic palm-tree-lined avenues and skylines. Founded in 1860 as a watchmaker’s workshop and school, Officine Panerai was the official supplier of the Italian navy (its designs from that time were considered a military secret until 1997). From this new collection, Officine Panerai’s 44mm Luminor Marina ($15,900) features a classic round, brushed-steel frame and a black face on an understated brown leather strap. For those looking to make a statement, the 47mm Radiomir 10 Days GMT (ABOVE) is a bit bolder in style, with its exaggerated cushion frame and enlarged face.
