Inspired by the idyllic tropical settings of Bal Harbour and Palm Beach, Italian watchmaker Officine Panerai designed a special collection of timepieces to commemorate its newest store openings in those cities, with each watch engraved in the back with the characteristic palm-tree-lined avenues and skylines. Founded in 1860 as a watchmaker’s workshop and school, Officine Panerai was the official supplier of the Italian navy (its designs from that time were considered a military secret until 1997).
