“Art enthusiasts Mariangela Capuzzo and Magnus Sigurdarson enjoy the seasonal diversity of the international festival circuit when they’re not dividing their time between homes in Miami and Reykjavik. Of Italian and Puerto Rican descent, she is a Miami native who has been involved with the city’s art scene since the ’80s. She is currently the lead curator for her company, International Corporate Art, which purchases pieces and provides curatorial direction for such companies as Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Celebrity Cruises. An Icelander, he has fused his Northern sensibilities into our tropical palette, and is perhaps most known for his monumental signature newspaper installations.”
“A minimalist with an ultra-romantic spirit: Born and raised in the Argentine pampas, painter Sebastian Spreng (SEATED) combines his artistic craft with his love of music. His work has been shown in galleries from Buenos Aires to Caracas to Miami, and is represented in the collections of American Airlines, the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Merrill Lynch, among others. Here at his latest show, ‘Handmade Horizons and Songs,’ at Wynwood’s Kelley Roy Gallery. He is also a music critic for such publications as El Nuevo Herald, Clásica and Opera News, and has interviewed such luminaries as Michael Tilson Thomas, Thomas Hampson and Joshua Bell. Here with fellow Argentine Daniel Davis.”
“Tremendous Miami native Nathan Browning owns the landscape-design studio Island Planning Corporation. He started his career working with Rem Koolhaas and has now completed such landmark projects as The Setai on South Beach and Amanyara in the Turks and Caicos. He is currently working on many new endeavors for such companies as Amanresorts, GHM Hotels and The Setai Hotels and Resorts, and private clients from Panama and Greece to Vietnam and Montenegro. When not working he can be found surfing, free-diving and snowboarding. Here with his stunning girlfriend—and fashion-industry force—Rebecca de Ravenel.”
