The foyer of La Prairie Silver Rain Spa in Grand Cayman

The Healing Powers of Water
Stepping into the grotto-like foyer of La Prairie Silver Rain Spa in the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is the sensory equivalent of standing inside of a waterfall: a velvety mist perfumed with Silver Rain eau de parfum wafts through the air as cool water ebbs beneath the crystalline tiles and cascades behind glacial-inspired quartzite walls.

The shimmering blue waters and surrounding beauty of the Grand Cayman are a natural fit for the 20,0000-square-foot flagship spa and its unique brand of hydrotherapy.

The ladies' Sanctuary

Serenity’s Doorstep
Upon check-in, Silver Rain guests are escorted to either the ladies' or men’s Sanctuary, where they may choose a personal locker containing standard Silver Rain attire: a fluffy white robe and slippers. Vanity tables are stocked with La Prairie moisturizers and attendants, or “angels,” wait in the wings to assist with any need—smaller slippers, a glass of cucumber-infused water, Champagne.

Also on this floor of the bi-level spa is a warren of alternative amenity rooms (sauna, steam room, hot tub) open to guests before or after treatment. Ladies showering facilities are replete with hair dryers and all of the primping necessities one could need.
The Silver Haven

Lavish Lounging
Outfitted in Silver Rain robes, you're led upstairs to the Silver Haven, where minds mellow and senses calm before treatment. The scent of Silver Rain—crisp green apple, rose, warm musk, magnolia—and the sound of running water are ever present and, outside of the room’s heavenly pearl and silver palette, not a stitch of color exists. A light buffet of dried fruits, nuts, crackers and fresh fruit-infused water is available just outside of the area.

Once you’ve chosen which plush chaise lounge you’ll call your own, another “angel” appears with a music menu featuring everything from Dido to Bach. If you'd like, you can draw your feathery white curtain and sink into the oversize chaise until treatment time.
