This month, Ocean Drive celebrates its 18th anniversary by commemorating our transition from local magazine to world-class publication. It’s a journey that parallels the evolution of South Beach itself—from a diamond in the tropical rough to its current status as the American Riviera. This publishing milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our loyal friends and colleagues, all of whom have continuously trusted in our brand and shared our unique vision. In true Ocean Drive spirit, we’re marking this special occasion with an over-the-top event—a bash to say thanks and start the next 18 years off in style. Stay tuned for more details on what is set to be a memorable evening!
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy both this Anniversary/Nightlife Issue as well as all the hot soirées unfolding this month right in our own backyard—a place where in-the-know locals and jet-setting celebrities regularly rub elbows. Look to the staff at Ocean Drive to keep you abreast of all the action in the issues ahead.
So join me in welcoming 2011 and the many great things to come. See you around town!
