Judging by the vibrancy of our cover star, Elsa Hosk, and the fashion she’s working in this issue, spring has arrived. She really is the perfect fit for our Spring Fashion Issue—she’s appeared in the past two Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows and was named one of the faces of the company’s Pink line.
As most of you know, Miami attracts lots of attention during March. Spring break is in full effect, and the events are far from limited. The Sony Open tennis tournament brings an impressive crowd to Key Biscayne’s Crandon Park Tennis Center from March 18 to 31—what’s not to enjoy about combining South Florida weather, high-velocity tennis, and major celeb sightings?
This year, our annual electronic music spectacle—where Ultra Music Festival abuts the Winter Music Conference—is reaching new heights. For the first time, Ultra is encompassing two weekends (March 15 to 17 and March 22 to 24), bookending WMC, which runs from March 15 to 24. Both of these events bring in thousands of people from all over the globe to soak in not only the music but everything Miami’s nightlife has to offer. Expect all of the clubs to try to outdo one another this month, with top headliners such as DJ Tiësto, David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Avicii, Kaskade, and many more hitting town.
I don’t anticipate a single dull moment in this city during the next four weeks. I look forward to seeing you around town….
