As the beginning of our town’s high season, November gives us glimpses of what’s ahead in the upcoming months. To kick off a great charity season, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida will host its annual Intercontinental Miami Make-AWish Ball, on November 2, to hopefully raise record amounts to fulfill the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. And later this month, on November 22, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach will once again play host to the annual Best Buddies Gala, now in its 17th year of supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Featured on the cover of this month’s issue is model Nina Agdal, who’s never looked better—in our humble opinion—in the latest resort looks. Ocean Drive is honored to be a part of her impressive portfolio, which includes Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition. She’s now a New Yorker, but we can’t wait to bring the former Miami resident back to her American hometown to celebrate how far she’s come since landing on our beaches.
Come November, Miami’s true colors shine through as sports fans rally around their favorite team. With the Miami Heat’s season off to a good start, we expect to have much to cheer about by season’s end.
And while temperatures have yet to completely cool off, we’re already gearing up for an electric holiday season full of lively soirées and festive foodstuffs. As you can see, there’s a lot to celebrate this month.
Hope to see you around town…
