ach October, Miami embraces National Hispanic Heritage Month by highlighting the contributions Hispanic Americans have made to our country, and, of course, Ocean Drive is at the epicenter of it all. With this issue, we give our readers the opportunity to indulge in the richness and diversity of Latin-American cultures. We kick off the month’s event schedule with our Hispanic Heritage celebration presented by Dewar’s and celebrity photographer Omar Cruz. Ocean Drive also takes part in Boot-Camp at Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland, where you’ll find the hottest fall footwear. And on October 16, we again partner with MOCA for its annual Mystery Dates fundraiser, an exciting event during which Miami’s elite open up their homes for an evening of art, design, food and “mystery guests.” Finally, on October 21, join us in the Design District as we partner with Dacra for a night of shopping, dining and fun.
With so many wonderful events in store, there is a lot of buzz spreading. October promises to be amazing, especially with the launch of the highly anticipated Miami Heat season. Let’s wish our team the best of luck, and we’ll see you around town.
