Is it me, or did this summer feel like high season never really slowed down? And September’s no exception. As we recuperate from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, we’re about to get hit with another dose of style, as our 10th annual Fall Fashion Week commences. Ocean Drive has outstanding fashion houses such as Perry Ellis and Diane von Furstenberg lined up to put on quite a show. And then there’s Fashion’s Night Out on September 8.
As if that’s not enough, we’ll be partnering with Neiman Marcus’ Coral Gables, Bal Harbour and Fort Lauderdale locations to present the Ocean Drive Pop-Up Shop, a hand-selected, haute-inspired store-within-a-store featuring the looks we like best from the season (we’ve brought in our editor in chief, Suzy Buckley, to select her favorites). The exclusive Pop-Up space will run September 1 through the 30th, and customers can enter to win a once-in-a-lifetime VIP Ocean Drive experience.
The end of summer’s not all about style. Vic & Angelo’s Enoteca, the much-loved Palm Beach Gardens and Delray Beach restaurant, has just opened in the former DeVito space on Ocean Drive. This place promises to threaten the fit of any high-fashion ensemble. But hey, it’s worth it.
