Founder, Belle & Company. It’s all about the talent, darling: She started her agency in 2006 and manages a growing roster of top photographers, hair and make-up artists, stylists and art directors working with a diverse array of clients including Ritz-Carlton Hotels, Chanel, Sony Ericsson and Vogue magazine. “Every day is different—I can be in Santa Barbara for a photo shoot, entertaining clients here in Miami, or helping my artists develop their portfolios to bring in new business.” Less is more: The British born Bell, who previously worked as marketing manager for the New World Symphony, surprised herself by agreeing to pose au naturel. “It’s a bit out of my comfort zone but I’m proud that I did it.” Shoot and sell—again and again: The reselling of imagery is, not surprisingly, a rather lucrative part of the industry, one that Bell would like to pursue. “Syndication is something that I’m very interested in because it’s what I did with The New York Times,” she says of her stint there, when she was selling branded content for the newspaper’s online division.—Bobby Killgore
