Rock and Roll, Romance and a Ring

She admits that steering clear of fried food is difficult in Nashville, where she lives (when not in New York) with fiancé Caleb Followill, the frontman for Grammy-winning indie band Kings of Leon. A total music buff, Aldridge lives for live shows. “I’m seeing Queens of the Stone Age next week, then Radiohead, then LCD Soundsystem,” she says. “I’d see a show every night if I could.”

“It’s blissful to be in love,” she says of her engagement. “In any relationship, you know it’s right when you’re happy and the other person makes you a better person. That’s what Caleb does for me.” The couple owes much to our fair city, in fact. “Miami is wonderful—the food’s amazing, and it’s so warm and beautiful—but I love it for one main reason: Caleb proposed in South Beach, and it was very romantic.” Aldridge is keeping the exact location a secret, though…. Believe us, we asked. What she does reveal is that she hopes kids will be the next chapter in her life—though she’s in no rush.
