Slava's Snowshow features the iconic-yellow dressed clown, Asisyai.
As temperatures rise, the Adrienne Arsht Center beckons culture seekers indoors to experience its latest visual spectacle: Slava's Snowshow. The 90-minute engagement premieres July 31 and centers around Asisyai, the iconic yellow-dressed clown created and performed by Russian artist Slava Polunin. Polunin's jaded but endearing character was made famous by Cirque du Soleil's Alegría.
Polunin's wintery Snowshow fuses the subtle whimsy of classic European mischief with the magic of an all-encompassing blizzard. The result is a dazzling indoor snowstorm that’s garnered international acclaim. It last showed in Miami in 2008, but has since racked up sold-out engagements in Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Madrid, London, and New York. The Arsht Center's performances will take place from Wednesdays to Sundays through August 25, with tickets beginning at $25 each. Tickets may be purchased online or through the Arsht Center box office. 1300 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, 305-949-6722
