GLOSSY GOLDS
The metals weren’t heavy, but they were plentiful at Donna Karan New York. Lead artist Charlotte Tilbury for MAC used bronzes and golds around the eye to create a soft-but-wet mirrored finish. “It’s romantic and ethereal, but with a modern twist,” says Tilbury. Keeping the skin bare and the lips nude puts the focus on the eye, giving it serious depth.
SHIMMERING PURPLES
At Jason Wu, lead artist Diane Kendal for Supreme Aupres—a Shiseido brand available in China—used a collection of jewel-toned eye shadows in brilliant shades of purple, green and red to create a regal, glittering-eye look. The shadows were from Wu’s collection for Supreme Aupres, but Shiseido gives the US market plenty of similar options for spring.
