Sara Colombo
Having spent her 20s modeling for the likes of Marie Claire and Elle (while jetting between Paris and London), Canadian native Colombo settled in Miami seven years ago. Now the mother of two has forged a new, stylish path via her interiors store, NEST, and is planning to open a second 2,400-square-foot space this summer in the Design District.

Age: 35.
Lives: Miami Beach.
Miami is my home because: It is one of the few cities I have ever lived in that is always changing.
Cause closest to my heart: Best Buddies, which works to integrate children with physical and mental disabilities.
Trademark look: Very natural (too much makeup and overstyled hair makes us look older than we are).
Go-to beauty brand: I still love the old staples from my modeling days, like Maybelline Great Lash mascara and L’Oréal Paris Elnett Silk hairspray. They are very old-school, but they work!
Advice to my 16-year-old self: Don’t worry so much about what other people think of you.
Miami guilty pleasure: Ice cream at The Frieze around the corner from NEST.
No one would ever guess: I was extremely shy as a child and would throw up anytime I had to speak in public or perform in front of a group!
New discovery: Moda Operandi, an online site that features unedited collections of top designers before they’re available anywhere else.
I stay in shape by: Doing Bikram yoga, Pilates, paddleboarding, biking, and skiing (and running around after my kids).
Beauty essential: Seeing my dermatologist, Dr. Mehrel, every month.
Signature scent: Chanel Beige.
I would want my eulogy to be: She was a good wife and mother.

BEAUTY: Crème Pour Le Corps, Chanel ($80). Neiman Marcus, Bal Harbour Shops, 9700 Collins Ave., 305-865-6161. Surf Spray, Bumble and Bumble ($24). The Mansion Beauty Salon, 702 W. 51st St., Miami Beach, 305-397-8391. The Skincare Hydro-Balancing Softener, Shiseido ($36). Sephora, 721 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305-532-0904. Clean Liquid Makeup in Buff Beige, CoverGirl ($7.99)

FASHION: Cici halter jumper, Ramona LaRue ($212). Resin ring, Miriam Salat ($250). Neiman Marcus, SEE ABOVE

Kimani Ortiz Roquemore
The gatekeeper of Miami’s most coveted guest list, Michigan-born Ortiz Roquemore is the membership manager for the Soho Beach House.

Age: 34.
Lives: Midtown Miami.
I’m most proud of: Being a happy and content person.
I stay in shape by: Racing around Soho Beach House day and night.
Miami is my home because: I just fell in love with the lifestyle and the great friends I’ve made.
Favorite feature: My legs (following a pretty gangly adolescence, years of athletics yielded a much-improved result).
Cause closest to my heart: Dress for Success.
Go-to beauty brand: I love MAC. I find their pigments to be extraordinarily rich, and I can never leave the retail store empty-handed.
Go-to hair pro: Janelle Johnson—she has worked many a miracle on my head! I go every fortnight.
Advice to my 16-year-old self: Stop trying so hard to be an adult.
Beauty secret: My dermatologist, Dr. Alicia Barba—she’s a genius. When I moved to Miami, I had a bout of acne; she fixed it and left my skin better than it was 10 years ago.
Best beauty advice ever given to me: Wear sunblock daily regardless of the weather, and stop frowning.
I would want my eulogy to be: She smiled until the end.

BEAUTY: Meta Sheer Dry Oil Finishing Spray, Serge Normant ($24). Sephora, 721 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, 305-532-0904. Vitamin C+ Bright Skin Radiance Nectar ($19.99), Vitalumière Aqua ($58), Chanel. Saks Fifth Avenue, Bal Harbour Shops, 9700 Collins Ave., 305-865-1100. Body Soufflé, Moroccanoil. ($52)

FASHION: Shauna dress, Ralph Lauren Black Label ($2,198). Bal Harbour Shops, 305-861-2059. Hoop earrings, Judith Jack ($125). Nordstrom, Aventura Mall, 19501 Biscayne Blvd., 305-356-6900

Susie Wahab
Lebanese-born Wahab made Miami her home after meeting her future husband at George Washington University. Twenty-two years later, she’s become part of the fabric of the city, working closely with Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, raising two sons, sitting on the committee for the Miami Art Museum, and hosting the most coveted suppers in town: A dinner for 16 at the Wahabs’ home raised $75, 000 at a recent charity event.

Age: 45.
Lives: Bay Point.
Miami is my home because: This city is like nowhere else; it’s exactly where I’m meant to be.
Miami guilty pleasure: Lying out on the sand fronting Soho Beach House with a fresh melon juice and a hamburger.
Renowned for: My cooking! I love to host dinners and am known for my Lebanese dishes; fatte (fried pita with eggplant, yogurt, garlic, and pine nuts) is the dish my friends demand the most. Always seen at: The Webster.
Beauty essential: La Roche-Posay SPF 50.
Dream purchase: An Anish Kapoor sculpture for our garden.
Signature scent: A pure perfume with an oud base, which my mother brings me from Kuwait once a year.
Go-to beauty brand: Bobbi Brown.
Advice to my 16-year-old self: Enjoy every moment with your parents.
My beauty philosophy: Develop your own style, and don’t be a victim to trends.
Secret of my success: Treat people the way you like to be treated.
No one would ever guess: I’m scared of flying.
Won’t be seen without: A good disposition

Cathy Leff
New York-born Leff has been the director of The Wolfsonian-FIU museum for 16 years. In that time, she has spearheaded its evolution from a private collection into one of America’s most prestigious public museums and research centers, quadrupling its size, and adding to Mitchell “Micky” Wolfson Jr.’s unique holdings with donations by collectors such as Leonard Lauder, Henry Hacker, and Fred and Jean Sharf.

Age: 61.
Lives: Biscayne Island.
Secret of my success: I try to surround myself with people who are more talented and smarter than I am.
Local inspiration: The outdoors. I need light for inspiration (but get no natural light in my bunker-like workplace!). So I go to the beach, get on my bike, or go to the ocean.
Advice to my 16-year-old self: Be confident and authentic.
Favorite feature: My smile.
New discovery: COMMON, a collaborative brand and creative community for accelerating social change.
Miami is my home because: It’s beautiful, exotic, diverse, and young, a city to which I can contribute and in which I can express myself.
I’m most proud of: My work at The Wolfsonian-FIU: to help take a private man’s collection into the public domain and, through it, inspire people to think about the power of art and design to shape the past, present, and future.
No one would ever guess: That I’ve always dreamed of being a farmer.
Miami guilty pleasures: Maison Martin Margiela, Tomas Maier, Alchemist, and The Webster.
Signature scent: Jo Malone’s Red Roses, mixed with Penhaligon’s Lily of the Valley and Violetta.
I would want my eulogy to be: She tried to make a difference.

BEAUTY: Lip Color in Cherry Lush, Tom Ford ($48). Saks Fifth Avenue, Bal Harbour Shops, 9700 Collins Ave., 305-865-1100. Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Day Cream, Shiseido ($52). FASHION: Tank, Helmut Lang ($320). Saks Fifth Avenue, SEE ABOVE. Lucite bubble ring, Patricia von Musulin ($225). elementschicago.com

Jenna Green
Green jokes that she’s the black sheep of the family; her father and two brothers work in medicine, while her mother is also a registered nurse. But she decided to follow a different path. Today, the born-and-bred Miamian splits her time between studying for her master’s degree and traveling to Haiti for her role as development director of Project Medishare, a charity that provides more than 200,000 Haitians with medical care, clean water, education, and jobs.

Age: 26.
Lives: Downtown Miami.
Miami is my home because: After spending four winters at Duke University in North Carolina, I realized we truly live in paradise.

Trademark look: I’m always covered with dog hair. The two loves of my life, my beagles Duke and Gracie, shed in abundance.
Local inspiration: Chapman Partnership for the homeless. It’s a place I have been involved with as a volunteer for 10 years. The first thing you see is a sign that says WHERE HOPE LIVES. This says it all!
New discovery: Hellobrit.com.
Right-hand beauty pro: Vivian Hidalgo at Studio Sixty 9.
No one would ever guess: I used to dream of being a footballer and am obsessed with the Miami Hurricanes.
I would want my eulogy to be: Lived life to the fullest and made an impact in the lives of others.

Jessica Goldman Srebnick
The high-flying daughter of the visionary developer Tony Goldman—who refashioned the fortunes of New York’s SoHo and Miami’s South Beach—first made her mark as the associate fashion director for Saks Fifth Avenue before joining the family business. Now the mother of three splits her time between executing local building projects and serving on the International Education Committee for the Young Presidents’ Organization.

Advice to my 16-year-old self: Every day of life is a gift. Be productive, open your mind to possibilities, don’t be afraid of change, challenge the norm, and be generous with your love.
Best beauty advice ever given to me: My exceptionally beautiful mother, Janet, once told me, “A smile overshadows any flaw.”
Miami is my home because: I moved to Miami Beach from New York City in 1997 to open The Hotel. The plan was to stay for a year, then head back to NYC, but I fell in love with South Florida.
