Any fashion-savvy woman in South Florida knows, if you are seeking a bold yet elegant piece of jewelry to complete your outfit, Pomellato will never disappoint. Rebecca Wright, store manager of Pomellato’s Bal Harbour shop, introduces us to this luxurious and exclusive line of jewelry.
One of a kind: The essence of artistic jewelry making is evident and consistent throughout every Pomellato collection. Each individual jewel is carefully crafted by hand, resulting in flawlessly composed pieces. It is precisely this outpouring of skill and pride that earns Pomellato the respect and praise of its contemporaries.
The scoop: Pomellato completely expresses the concept of prêt-à-porter in jewelry. Pieces that are rare, exclusive and meticulously crafted are intended to be worn day and night. Simply put, Pomellato is the most sophisticated accessory a woman can wear.
A perfect fit: Bal Harbour was the perfect location to open our second US boutique—and 26th worldwide. Pomellato needed to be a part of the most famous and luxurious shopping establishment in the country. We are thrilled to add our name to the Bal Harbour Shops’ roster of the most exclusive luxury brands in the world.
Inspired interiors: Pomellato is usually described as being elegant, luxurious, sleek and bold. Both the interior and exterior of the boutique maintain these signature styles of the brand: black lacquered wood panels, champagne-colored silk shantung along the walls, Noir Belgium marble bands along the outside of the boutique. Black glass tables and gold brocade armchairs complete the arrangement. The interior was designed with the Italian architect Raffaella Bortoluzzi.
Playing favorites: My favorite collection is Arabesque. It’s modern yet traditional, utilizing Pomellato's signature peony updated as a cutout in brushed 18k rose gold. The colored stones of this collection are modernized with a refreshing asymmetrical cut.
In stock: We carry the Dodo by Pomellato line made up of primarily 18k gold animal charms, each with its own meaning and message. The line is having amazing results all across the globe and we are happy to have it here in the Bal Harbour Pomellato boutique as well!
Fashion philosophy: Black on professional days. All color on personal days—to match my Nudo rings!
Her top five picks:
1. Nudo stackable rings in blue topaz, rose de france and prasiolite
2. Tango hoop earrings with champagne diamonds set in burnished silver and 18k rose gold
3. Capri turquoise and rock crystal necklace and cross pendant
4. Luna moonstone and aquamarine ring stacked with rose quartz and tourmaline ring
5. Harem 18k rose-gold chain with Harem amethyst and clear topaz pendants
