3030 Ocean Brunch Series Promises Seafood Charcuterie, Crispy Duck and Waffles
3030 Ocean is kicking off a three-month brunch series on Sunday, March 16 from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the oceanside Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach. The Spring Awakening Brunch ($60 per person, with endless Bloody Marys) will feature seasonal ingredients and cocktails curated by executive chef Paula DaSilva. Menus change monthly, with the kick-off brunch including dishes such as seafood “charcuterie” boards, banana chocolate chip pancakes, crispy duck and waffle, and smoked bacon and grits. 3030 Holiday Drive, Ft. Dinner with OTC and Wynwood Brewing Company
Brickell craft beer haven OTC is teaming up with Wynwood Brewing Company for a three-course brew pairing ($65 per person) on Saturday, March 8 at 7 p.m. at OTC. The meal, crafted by OTC chef Jacob Anaya, promises dishes like Okinawan sweet potato croquettes and squid ink Spanish rice with cuttlefish and conch noodles paired with Wynwood’s Magic City Pale Ale. The Mandarin Oriental and former Florida Room mixologist Angelo Vieira offer a new craft cocktail bar option in MO Bar + Lounge. The new waterfront lounge capitalizes on its panoramic views of the bay and offers nightly live music and a menu of light bites, classic cocktails, and re-crafted vintage cocktails. Earls Kitchen + Bar Brings Pork Buns and Burgers to Dadeland Mall
Dadeland Mall’s Terrace Dining wing is getting a new addition on Wednesday, March 12 with the opening of Earls Kitchen + Bar. The family-owned restaurant will feature its signature burgers and sandwiches, like the Bronx burger on homemade brioche bun with red pepper relish and beer-battered onion rings, in addition to global and seasonal dishes. The menu also features South Florida-specific items like cobia ceviche and sticky BBQ pork buns that change daily and incorporate local and homemade ingredients.
