Downtown lunchers can now head to the newly opened Spris outpost on Biscayne Boulevard. With its flagship on Lincoln Road, the upscale pizzeria is also opening a restaurant in Midtown later this fall.
A midday meal at Spris downtown promises wood-fired pies, with a toothsome, thin crust, an extended craft beer and wine selection, and an assortment of antipastos, salads, and paninis served on homemade ciabatta bread. The main attraction, of course, is pizza. The menu boasts more than 20 artisanal pizza varieties, including a pie topped with fresh arugula and prosciutto and a classic white pizza.
And to meet the area's bustling demands, Spris downtown has tweaked its service model. In addition to dining alfresco or in the main dining room, patrons can also utilize a quick service counter for lunch on-the-go.
Spris is backed by the Graspa Group, whose diverse portfolio includes TiramesU, Van Dyke Café, Soyka, Salumeria 104, and Segafredo L'Originale. "We've won the hearts and stomachs of Miami Beach locals and tourists alike, not to mention all the Miami residents who play and party in South Beach," says Graspa Group owner Graziano Sbroggio. "Now the people who work and play in downtown have a place where they can be assured a casual yet gourmet meal."
