Cafeina’s new mezzanine boasts 1920s-inspired décor, hand crafted cocktails, and tasty tapas
Cafeina Wynwood Lounge gets on the speakeasy trend wagon as it celebrates the grand opening of a remodeled second floor mezzanine tonight. The revamped space has been appointed with plush fainting couches, glass candelabras, and vintage-inspired rugs, creating an intimate and luxe ambiance. To celebrate the occasion, and the spot’s three-year anniversary, mixologist David Boxwill is rolling out a new cocktail menu to match the mezzanine's throwback décor. Boxwill’s signature is The Mason, a prohibition era-style punch with secret ingredients. Other new drinks like the bourbon-fueled Sleeping Fip and Mandarin Sidecar likewise nod to the 1920s. Meanwhile, chef Diego Pasqualicchio’s tapas menu includes new additions and old favorites like goat cheese croquettes and truffle fries. Stop by tonight and celebrate with complimentary cocktails until 11 p.m., burlesque dancers, and beats by DJ A-Train. 297 N.W. 23rd St., Miami, 305-438-0792; RSVP@cafeinamiami.com
