Brunch Plans: Joey’s Italian Café

Joey’s Italian Café will debut a new rustic Italian brunch this Sunday, November 11. From noon until 10 p.m., patrons can lounge on the newly renovated patio and order up a slew of breakfast, brunch, and classic Italian indulgences. Executive chef Ivo Mazzon’s brunch signatures include uova alla Fiorentina, or toast topped with poached eggs, spinach, fontina cheese, and black forest ham, and frittata con ciapolle e salsiccia, or scrambled eggs with onion, Italian sausage, and tomatoes. Lunch leaning items include a panino packed with veggies and smoky scamorza cheese, house-made pastas with your choice of sauce, both beef and salmon carpaccios, and newly created pizzas, such as the gorgonzola tartufata, topped with gorgonzola cheese, walnuts, truffle oil, and peppery arugula. 2506 N.W. 2nd Ave., Miami, 305-438-0488
