Condé Nast Exhibits at Art Basel

In its first official partnership with Art Basel Miami Beach, media juggernaut Condé Nast is exhibiting 28 archival photographs from the new book and global exhibition Coming Into Fashion: A Century of Photography at Condé Nast at the fair's luxe Art Collectors Lounge. Photographs by the likes of Edward Steichen, Cecil Beaton, Horst P. Horst, John Rawlings, and Constantin Joffe will be divided into four chronological “chapters.” Pulled from Vogue, British Vogue, Glamour, and Vanity Fair, works display fashion photography at its highest form over the past 100 years.
Conde Nast also partnered with the Microsoft Surface tablet to offer an exclusive app—only accessible via the Surface unit—with behind the scenes information on each photograph and a virtual tour of the exhibit. These stunning and timeless images will not be seen again in the United States until the international tour returns in 2014. Once Basel wraps in Miami Beach, Conde Nast ships Coming Into Fashion to Milan. The accompanying book, however, is available now. 1901 Convention Center Dr., Miami Beach
