Fashion App COVET Snags Rachel Zoe
July 10, 2013 | Homepage
Whether armed with an Apple device or another mobile tablet device, the fashion obsessed have a creative outlet in COVET Fashion, an outfit building application that’s now widely available. To boost its sartorial credibility, though, COVET has nabbed superstar stylist and lover of all-things glamorous Rachel Zoe as its first style ambassador.
The application acts as a virtual showroom brimming with current designer duds—Rebecca Minkoff, Cynthia Rowley, Hudson Jeans, Halston Heritage, and Joie are among the choices. Zoe's own line is also available to COVET fans. After searching the digital racks, users can then pull their preferred pieces to create an ensemble, with individual items or full looks able to be purchased directly from each brand's e-commerce site.
To broaden its scope, COVET will regularly host styling challenges based on seasonal themes. Winners will be selected by a bevy of industry veterans (including Zoe) and be eligible for exclusive prizes. COVET also offers expert wardrobe recommendations and outfitting tips.
