First Look: The Blacksmith Saloon

You can’t belly up to the bar at The Blacksmith Saloon until tomorrow night, but we got a first look at some of the libations you’ll want to try when the weekly Friday night pop-up debuts at The Well Lounge. Handcrafted by mixologist Chris Hudnall, drinks range from tea-infused tonics to bourbon-fueled mules. Most interesting is a cactus wine cocktail with Mitcher’s Rye, maple honey, citrus, and rosemary; Hudnall calls it the Cactus Cooler. In addition to bar service, The Blacksmith Saloon will offer bar carts and DIY drinks. Chef Horacio Rivadero will serve playful small plates like chorizo corndogs and filet mignon skewers to compliment Hudnall’s cocktails. And, if that’s not enough, there will be a cigar bar and bluesy live music acts. 441 41st St., Miami Beach, 305-397-8444
