Secret Moonshine Sips at Rose Bar

The Getaway Car, one of the new moonshine cocktails at Rose Bar.
A new moonshine whiskey program has been implemented at the Delano Hotel's elegant Rose Bar. Head bartender Bernie Waters crafted the series in the shadow of the Roaring Twenties, Art Deco, and Prohibition eras. Keeping true to the spirit's southern roots, Rose Bar is only serving moonshines that have not been colored or barreled—Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine, Lincoln County Lightning, Platte Valley Straight Corn Whiskey, and Junior Johnson's Midnight Moon are currently featured.
How is this notoriously strong liquor being served? In nostalgically named libations like The Getaway Car (Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine, Cointreau, lemon juice) and the Sour Shine (Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine, lemon juice, simple syrup). The new additions also come with their own midweek celebration: Whiskey Wednesdays allow those with an exclusive password to sample complimentary small batches of moonshine cocktails or craft beers.
