Taste of the Nation: Share Our Strength’s annual Taste of the Nation South Florida fundraising fête is less than two weeks away. The event will take place on Thursday, July 25 from 7 to 10 p.m. inside the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, with food from more than 30 top-tier dining establishments. Participants include Shikany, Zuma, Makoto, Joe's Stone Crab, Red the Steakhouse, Sakaya Kitchen, and Restaurant Michael Schwartz. VIP tickets are $250 per person, general admission tickets are $125. Rosé Pairings at db Bistro Moderne: On Thursday, July 18, starting at 6:30 p.m., db Bistro Moderne will host a four-course rosé wine dinner featuring sips selected by new sommelier Christopher Birnie-Visscher. Venezuelan Specialties at Wynwood Kitchen & Bar: Venezuelan cuisine will close Wynwood Kitchen & Bar's summer-long exploration of Latin American flavors. The à la carte menu, which reflects chef Miguel Aguilar’s native country, will be available every Thursday throughout July for lunch and dinner. The Art of Wine and Food: Learn to maneuver the wine aisle better with the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale's “Art of Wine and Food” series. A new edition takes place Thursday, July 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. and explores the best wines with a $20 price tag. The event also teaches proper food pairing tips to enhance flavors and aromas.
