Taste of the Garden

Miami Beach Botanical Garden and the Miami Beach Garden Club host the sixth annual Taste of the Garden soirée, featuring bites from more than 20 local restaurants. The starlit evening will include fine wines, live entertainment, complimentary valet, live art, and a luxe silent auction. Taste of Design
Friday, February 1, 7–11 p.m.
The fifth annual Taste of Design fundraiser takes residency inside the Moore Building to benefit Miami's Design and Architecture Senior High PTSA. Tour the flavors of the Design District and its surrounding areas while taking in works by the design world’s most talented youngsters. Oak Tavern, Harry's Pizzeria, Buena Vista Bistro, and Florida Cookery will all participate, and there will be a silent auction and live music. Cycle for Survival
Saturday, February 2, 8 a.m.–NOON
Sweat it out this Saturday at Equinox Coral Gables during Cycle for Survival, an indoor team cycling relay that raises money for rare cancer research. Participating teams can register to ride a four-hour shift, with a maximum of eight riders per team rotating turns on a shared bike. Sharon Socol Book Launch and Exhibit

Acclaimed photographer Sharon Socol hosts the Miami launch of her fashion photography book, Plus One: An Outsider's Photographic Journey Into the World of Fashion at Books & Books Coral Gables. Saturday's event is in collaboration with Gables Gallery Night and will also exhibit some of Socol's famous snaps throughout the garden area. The Dutch Pizza Pop-Up
Opens Saturday, February 2, MIDNIGHT–3 a.m.
Late-night eats are aplenty at The Dutch's "Pie'sanos Pizza Parlor," a pop-up with wood-fired pizza specials every Saturday night through February. Stop in after midnight to try one of four new pies, such as the oyster and bacon covered Rockafella or the veggie-loaded Antipasti.
