Idle Warship (Talib Kweli and Res)

The Live at Knight concert series will kick off with a performance by hip hop icon Talib Kweli, chanteuse Res, and The Miami Symphony Orchestra. The Arsht Center performance will mark the duo's Miami debut and also stand as the first time Kweli has teamed up with a live orchestra. Las Olas Art Fair
Saturday and Sunday, October 20-21
Cross the county line and celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of South Florida's signature art events: The Las Olas Art Fair. Held in downtown Fort Lauderdale, the fair will welcome more than 200 artists from around the country. The two-day, open-air event is free and open to the public. 620 E. Las Olas Blvd., Ft. Gilberto Gil
Sunday, October 21, 7 p.m.
Brazil's legendary musical icon and former minister of culture will play a private solo concert at New World Center to ring in the Rhythm Foundation's silver anniversary.
