Watch with white and blue rope and brown leather band, Miansai ($355).
Accessories designer Michael Saiger emphasizes the important connection between a label and its consumers. “I wanted to create something that was true to our brand and true to our customer,” he says. Saiger combines his creativity and curiosity for his bracelet-heavy accessories line, which gave birth to his line of watches. By offering an updated, modern take on the ribbon band, the timepieces truly reflect not only Saiger’s aesthetic but also that of his devotees. “Watches are a very personal purchase,” he says. “A lot of watchmakers focus on a lifestyle: racer, pilot, thrill-seeker…. Ours are just good-looking, classic, ageless styles that anyone and everyone can wear, regardless of the occasion.” Flawless and timeless—a combination that’s smooth like clockwork.
