TUDOR watches made their comeback in the United States as the official partner of the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), one of the most exciting racecar events of the season. The six-hour American segment of the event took place recently at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. More than 33,000 people gathered to celebrate the Super Sportscar Weekend, which included the FIA WEC and the American Le Mans Series events.
TUDOR has been dedicated to creating elegant timepieces since its inception in 1926. The partnership between Tudor and the FIA WEC reflects their similarities in prioritizing performance and accuracy in both the timepiece and motorsport worlds.
The TUDOR Grantour Chrono Fly-Back piece made a stunning debut as the FIA WEC winners were awarded with the efficient and chic watch, which boasts a 42-mm steel case with polished and satin finish, power reserve of approximately 42 hours, and a date display at 6 o'clock. The partnership between Tudor and the FIA WEC promises to be a lasting one. The last installment of FIA WEC will be on Saturday, November 30.
