Few fragrances get to earn the epithet “iconic”, but when it comes to Armani’s Acqua di Giò, just one hint and it sparks an instant association for men and women alike—either you’ve worn it yourself or know someone who has. First introduced in 1996, Giorgio Armani has now revealed a modern take on the Eau de Parfum that has transcended generations, with updated scent notes and eco-conscious bottling.
To bring the spirit of Acqua di Giò to life, Armani Beauty created an immersive experience at The Temple House on Miami Beach, complete with a custom, monochromatic Armani basketball court highlighting the brand’s strong ties to the NBA and its partnership with professional athletes like Miami Heat’s Tyler Herroand Utah Jazz’s Jordan Clarkson.

Additional friends of the house that were in attendance included athletes Todd Gurley, Quentin Grimes, Hansel Enmanuel, Dillon Mitchell, Anthony Walker, Mark Ingram Jr., and more, as well as celebrities Chase Stokes from Netflix’s Outer Banks, Gavin Leatherwood from Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Danny Ramirez of Top Gun: Maverick, and Bachelorette alum Dale Moss.

“It was the first fragrance that I ever used,” Chase Stokes told Ocean Drive, recalling his first memory of Armani Acqua di Giò. “Since I was 12 years old, my grandmother has gotten me fragrances for Christmas and the first was Acqua Di Giò. It's a full circle moment for me to be a part of the brand—life is very serendipitous.”
Stokes, who originally hails from Florida, loves to frequent Papi Steak and Swan while he’s in Miami for work or play, and divulged his love for Latin culture. “Little Havana has so many hidden gems,” he shared. “The Cuban culture down here is incredible.”
Jordan Clarkson
Dinner was served atop the court itself and once the crowd finished singing “Happy Birthday” to Jordan Clarkson, every guest made their way to the hoops and immediately tried their hand at a few baskets with some tips from the greats, of course.
