The Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA) Hosts ProjectArt Group Exhibition
The Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA) is hosting a group exhibition of artists from ProjectArt, a nonprofit organization that provides free after-school art classes to underserved youth in public libraries through an artist residency program.Taking inspiration from the libraries and communities they served for 9 months, these Miami-based, multi-disciplinary artists will come together to showcase the artwork they created during their tenure as ProjectArt Resident Artists. The artists teach, mentor youth, and create new works in eight public libraries across Miami-Dade County. MOCA and ProjectArt will kick off the 4-day viewing with an opening event at 6 p.m. that includes a 7:15 p.m. walk-through led by the artists who will offer exclusive insight into their works. Miami Fashion Week Benefit Gala Hosted by Antonio Banderas
MIAFW will host an exclusive Miami Fashion Week Benefit Gala Hosted by Antonio Banderas supporting Nicklaus Children's Hospital Foundation and his own foundation, Fundación Lágrimas y Favores at 8 p.m. Held at the Alfred I. DuPont building the annual event will feature a sit-down dinner, live entertainment by a celebrity performer, live auction benefiting the foundations and, of course, fashion. Sustainable Supperclub at Verde at PAMM
Sustainable Supperclub is a pop up dinner club where guests will have the opportunity to dine on a plant-based meal comprised of foods which would generally go to waste. 100% of the proceeds after expenses will benefit Lotus House, a 501c organization, whose mission is to end child and family homelessness in our country.
