Traveling to the Caribbean just got a lot easier for Miamians. Just announced, American Airlines will officially be flying directly to Anguilla on a daily basis.
In late 2021, American Airlines announced the new flying route which offered three weekly flights to the Caribbean destination. After a successful launch and a few months later, they are excited to be catering their non-stop service, daily flights for customers beginning on April 2.
Both United States and Anguilla officials are very excited about this opportunity for its travelers.
Anguilla Premier Dr. Ellis Webster expressed in a statement, “We embarked on this journey with American Airlines with the objective of securing daily, year-round service to our island,” he continued, “We are immensely gratified that this goal has been achieved ahead of schedule. It is a testament to the overwhelming demand for our wonderful tourism product, and to American Airlines’ confidence in the experience and capability of our outstanding team on island, to support and promote their operation.”
The flight is scheduled for 3 hours and 25 minutes, transporting travelers safely to the tropical destination.
“We are thrilled to start our daily service to Anguilla in April,” said Christine Valls, American Airlines Managing Director of Sales for Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean. “Anguilla is an important destination within our route network, one which we believe has tremendous potential for growth. We look forward to working with our Anguillian partners to develop both leisure and business tourism to the island and to the region.”
