When two industries collide, sparks can soar. That’s certainly the case for Rif le Paper Co. for L’Occitane, an exquisite collection of body and skincare products marked by founder and Creative Director Anna Bond’s signature f loral handiwork that has made her paper goods business a household name. “L’Occitane is an iconic French brand I personally use, so when they reached out, I jumped at the chance to collaborate,” says Bond of the 40-year-strong skincare powerhouse. “I was inspired by the idea of illustrating all of the ingredients on the packaging and bringing the products to life in a visual way.” With her pretty touch, dry winter skin is instantly hydrated via shea butter and rose hand creams ($12 to $29); pure shea butter in apricot, rose and classic shea ($12 each); and shea soap in shea milk, lavender and verbena ($8 each). Trios of the products delight for Valentine’s Day with the addition of a full body collection ($40) and a tip-top manicure set ($60)—all outfitted in fanciful Rif le Paper Co. gift boxes. Here, Bond details her dazzling new project and bringing beauty to the everyday.;

What inspired this collaboration?
Classic floral scents—apricot, lavender, verbena and rose—reminiscent of the fragrant gardens in the south of France.

What’s your favorite product from the collection?
I always keep a travel-size shea butter in my bag and love that it absorbs quickly with just a hint of fragrance. It’s produced in fair-trade partnership with the women of Burkina Faso, where traditional methods create an especially nourishing moisturizer.

What was it like to translate your paper goods into beauty product packaging?
Inspired by [L’Occitane’s] luxurious ingredients, I wanted to create products that look beautiful on vanities and in purses—items [people] will love to incorporate into their everyday beauty routines.

Why was L’Occitane the ideal brand to partner with?
I started Rifle Paper Co. with the hope of bringing beauty to the everyday. I’m thrilled to partner… with a brand that shares the same sense of small pleasures.

What has the success of Rifle Paper Co. meant to you?
The most important thing I’ve learned is that I love what I do and have to continue to love it. Unless that’s what I truly believe, all of the hard work, long nights and stressful days wouldn’t be worth it.
