You’ve probably seen the pictures of Cardi B walking for Balenciaga in Los Angeles over the weekend, but what you might not have caught was the bit where the legendary Spanish fashion house unveiled its new collaboration with the illustrious and hip-hop favored jewelers at Jacob & Co. on a new high jewelry collection.

Diamant is the premiere collection of diamond pieces, marking Balenciaga’s first foray into the world of high jewelry and Jacob & Co.’s first steps into high fashion.

The collection takes its notes from the world of hip-hop, too, bringing elevated bling in the form of big Cuban link chains, two-finger rings and nameplate necklaces. There are two necklaces, one ring and one bracelet in total, all of which are handmade in 18K white gold and blitzed out with white diamonds.

All together, the pieces have the flair and energy of a top-notch MC, but the classic and timeless designs ring with all the sophistication of old money.
