Ball & Chain is one of Miami’s most historic venues. Located on lively Calle Ocho, in the heart of Miami’s Little Havana, Ball & Chain boasts Cuban culture through their authentic food, drinks and music.

The restaurant and live music venue has been a staple since 1935 and is excited to start 2022 with a wide array of activities and events.

Just announced, Ball & Chain will be offering Bachata lessons, performances from Miguel Cruz, The Ball & Chain Trio, unique DJs and of course, lots of dancing. Throughout the month of January, they have put together the ultimate daily schedule to immerse patrons into Cuban culture through music, dancing and food.

Every day the Ball & Chain Trio will play from 12 p.m until 6 p.m., which will then be followed by percussionist Miguel Cruz from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

On Monday’s Ball & Chain will celebrate Mambo Monday’s and there will be live DJ sets by DJ VILA from 9 p.m. all the way until midnight.

Tuesday’s are now Bachatues days with a fun, free Bachata class at 9 p.m. and a DJ set from Jorge Charun through midnight.

Get ready to dance on Wednesdays with Caramelo Wednesdays. Jorge Charun will be behind the DJ booth and giving guests free salsa lessons from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Thursday’s are celebrating Little Havana Under the Stars which includes a free salsa class and DJ set by El Russo. Gearing up for the weekend, Little Havana Under the Stars will be taking place from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Friday’s are in full swing with Miami Boheme and a set by DJ OZZ. The celebrations will go from 8 p.m. until 3 a.m., which is the perfect way to kick off the weekend.

Ball & Chain’s La Pachanga Party on Saturdays will be a fun-filled evening. The DJ set with La Clave will go from 8 p.m. until 3 a.m.

With events planned for every night, there is no doubt Ball & Chain will be the place to be in January. Entertainment is at the forefront of Calle Ocho, this is one of the best places to spend your evenings.
