What began as a passion for barbecue for Anthony Nicolosi, Owner of BBQ & Craft Co, has resulted in an award-winning Barbecue Restaurant in the heart of Brickell. They serve prime barbecue favorites, specialty meats, premium sides, a great selection of 25+ beers from local South Florida breweries, and their signature line of barbecue sauces. "I thought I knew what barbecue was…until I tasted the real thing," said Anthony when asked about his backstory on his journey to master the craft of barbecue. "As a kid growing up in NY, I never knew what true BBQ was…I thought it was grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. But as I later discovered, there was more to the story".
BBQ & Craft Co has a diverse menu that includes everything from delectable appetizers to savory main entrees and signature craft sides. Since their grand opening over two years ago, the ability to experience authentic Southern-style barbecue in the Magic City has been a top priority for everyone at this authentic barbecue restaurant.
For those looking forward to an authentic barbecue experience but are unsure where to begin, the "Craft Tasting Meal" is the perfect option as it brings a little bit of every favorite signature dish. This dish is served with craft sides such as coleslaw, loaded mac & cheese, and potato salad. The "Craft Tasting Meal" brings a half-pound of smoked chicken, half-pound of pulled pork, two sausage links, a half-pound of beef brisket, a half-pound of pork belly, and a half rack of ribs.
For those who are eager to dig into traditional BBQ fare, the "Prime New York Strip" – 16 oz, herbs, horseradish, smoked beef jus; the "Beef Brisket" – 8 oz, horseradish, BBQ sauce; and the "St. Louis Spare Rib" – Half Rack / Full Rack, house BBQ sauce, pickled chilies, cornbread crumbles are just some of the many must try's on the restaurant's delicious menu.
Upon entering, guests can enjoy outside dining on the front patio, which has a scenic view of Brickell Avenue. There is also inside dining, and guests can sit in booths, open tables, or the open bar area. There, they can watch the local news and sports channels on the various television screens.
If you're a wine lover and happen to be in the Brickell area on Tuesdays, BBQ & Co has "Wine Tuesdays," where all bottles of wine are half off from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., ensuring you accompany every meal with a delightful glass of wine. Ladies are in for a treat on Wednesdays when complimentary margaritas and martinis are served at the bar from 6:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It includes fantastic deals on delicious plates like their "Beef Brisket Sandwich" –chopped brisket, watercress, smoked red onions, horseradish creme fraiche, and kaiser roll, paired with Tap Beer for just $5 and Bourbon or Scotch at 50% off.
BBQ & Craft Co is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Online ordering is now available through the restaurant's website for those who are on the go and identify with the hustling Brickell lifestyle. Catering is available, and they offer a variety of BBQ platters and sides in various quantities to ensure that every event-goer gets to experience the taste of authentic barbecue, especially during the summer. Guests can also expect a brand new BBQ & Craft Co location to open soon in South Beach.
