Miami is so much more than beaches and pools. The national and local parks in the area offer some of the best bike paths there are. From small elevation, oceanside and residential trails, we’ve rounded up some of the best bike trails and paths in Miami.
3801 Rickenbacker Causeway
With an almost 9-mile bike trail, Virginia Key North Point Park is the perfect place to catch some fresh air and get some exercise. With approximately 25 different trails you will be sure to see some beautiful forestry and be so close to the water if you want to take a quick dip afterward!
401 E 65th St.
This beautiful trail is a loop, making it easy for bikers to finish strong. Approximately 3.9 miles long, this is the perfect trail for beginners and intermediates looking for a good workout and some fresh air. While ‘mountain biking’ doesn’t quite exist in a state as flat as Florida, this path features some surprising elevation!

9698 SW 328th St.
Get transported to the countryside with this breathtaking bike ride. Surrounded by empty land, farms and roads for miles long, this scenic trail is the perfect place to clear your mind and sweat it off.
3400 NE 163rd St.
This is definitely one of Miami’s top trails. With 15 miles of off-road biking, this is the spot for bikers in South Florida. Featuring a thousand acres of park space, there is plenty of room for activities and hours outdoors.
6747 Crandon Blvd.
It doesn’t get more Miami than riding across the Rickenbacker Causeway and Crandon Boulevard. This beautiful path and bridge features 9 miles of blue water and extraordinary views.
9610 Old Cutler Rd.
In the heart of Coral Gables, Old Culter Trail is the perfect trail through the stunning residential neighborhood. The 13.5-mile trail passes through many South Miami landmarks including Matheson Hammock Park, Fairchild Tropical Gardens and Pinecrest Gardens.
