11 South Florida Salons For the Perfect Blowout

Where To Get the Best Blowouts in South Florida

By Kathy Buccio | May 10, 2018 | Style & Beauty

There’s nothing a good blowout can’t fix. The key is finding the right salon and stylist that will leave you feeling red-carpet ready. Lucky for you, we’ve rounded up some hair-raising options from Davie to West Miami, that will surely blow you away.

Atma Beauty

Sunset Harbour is brimming with fabulous blowouts and they’re probably all courtesy of the folks at Atma Beauty. Expect nothing but friendliness, talent, and an energetic environment when you pop into this industrial space for a service. Meeting friends in the neighborhood? They’ll get you blowout ready in less than an hour. Ask for senior stylist, Emiliano De Pasqual ($65). From messy beach waves to sleek sexiness, there’s nothing he can’t do. 1874 West Ave., Sunset Harbour, 786-216-7510

True Hair Miami

Cascading hair locks that are perfectly waved, is the blowout du jour at Ellie Menocal’s True Hair Miami, which feels like you’re in your best friend’s living room chit chatting away. Menocal, famously known as the ‘extension queen’ for her sought-after extensions, also happens to be a master at big, voluminous, sexy hair. A blowout with her will run you $45. If you can’t get an appointment with Ellie, don’t fret. She’s got a secret weapon in stylist, Ethian Hugo. He’s a wizard with a curling wand. 3449 NE 1st Ave., Miami, 305-921-4238

I.M Hair

When he’s not manning the tresses of big superstars at the Latin Billboards, you can find hair guru, Isaac Mesa, doling out the most glamorous cuts, colors, and blowouts in his Coral Gables salon. Mesa who is stylist/therapist/friend all rolled into one, is a mastermind at his craft. He creates everything from soft waves to ‘I woke up like this’ tousled hair, with such ease, it’s almost envious; but then you remember you’re the one sitting in that chair. Blowouts range from $45 to $65. 2263 SW 37th Even, Miami, 786-379-2788

Sean Donaldson Hair

At Donaldson’s second outpost at the Brickell City Centre, the stylists are just as seasoned and talented as his Miami Beach location. Pop in in-between shopping and lunch, and treat yourself to one of their signature blowouts (throw in a hair mask while you’re there too)! The sleek and clean space is the ideal spot to get hair ready for any event. Want to be blown away? Book an appointment with stylist Cris Rovere ($45) who has a slew of famous faces and local socialites clamoring to work with him. Boston transplant, Oriana Harris, speaks hair fluently and can pretty much give you any look you want. 701 S. Miami Ave., Brickell, 786-646-9390

Coffee and Hair Co.

That’s exactly what you’re going to get when you book a blowout at West Miami blowout bar, Coffee and Hair. This husband and wife tag team, nailed it when it came to creating an atmosphere that is unpretentious and casual, with the focus being a pampering experience (and free coffee, of course). Prices are fixed and change depending on the day of the week ($25 on Tuesdays, $30 on Wednesdays, $35 on Thursdays, and $40 from Friday to Monday). Specialized treatments are also available. Every stylist is a dream, but if you’re looking for someone specific, you can’t go wrong with Shae or Andrea. A second location will be opening soon in Kendall. 6576 Bird Rd., South Miami, 305-915-4485

Don’t even get me started on his blowouts, which run you $100 (and worth every single penny) and will have you feeling like a glamazon queen. His team of stylists at the newly renovated salon, are also premier quality, and their will run you $60.
